Gökhan Arıkoç

Gökhan Arıkoç is a private equity investor with over 23 years of Private Equity and M&A experience acting as investor, board member and advisor for companies across a wide range of sectors.

Prior to co-founding Lycian Capital, Gökhan was a Managing Director at Franklin Templeton, where he focused on Franklin Templeton’s private equity investments in Turkey. Prior to Franklin Templeton, Gökhan served as Partner at Pera Capital, a Turkey-focused private equity firm, where he led the investments in and served on the boards of a number of mid-market companies. Gökhan acted as the lead partner of Pera Capital’s investments in Bimser, the leading enterprise content management software provider in Turkey, and PTS, the leading international air shipping services provider in Turkey. Prior to joining Pera Capital, Gökhan was a Director at HSBC Principal Investments, the private equity arm of HSBC Group, where he led the acquisition of Havaş, the leading ground handling company in Turkey. Prior to joining HSBC, he was a Manager at EY Corporate Finance, where he spent over seven years advising on numerous significant M&A transactions and privatizations worth over $15 billion.

Gökhan holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and BA in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University. He is also a graduate of Deutsche Schule Istanbul (Abitur, Science).
